A decision I made
At 17, my parents asked me a question I could not answer:
What do you really want to do after high school?
Months later, I decided I wanted to study in the United States.
At 18, speaking almost no English, I left Japan with a one-way ticket. It was not an easy decision, but it was mine. Because I had chosen it for myself, I was fully committed to making it work.
